Orientals for Urban Development (OUD) is currenlty building Sidewalk Mall in the Fifth Settlement district in New Cairo. According to OUD’s chairman Asser Hamdy the mall’s investments amounted to 350 million Egyptian pounds ($19.7 million). Sidewalk Mall is being developed by Knowledge, Vision, Research, Development (KVRD), in cooperation with OUD, and includes about 20 shops and 30 administrative offices.
